What does Senton do? In simple terms, it creates a secure connection between one of your supported devices and one of Senton's servers. This means that websites won't be able to see your public IP address, and other users on the same network will see less of you than if you were not using a VPN.
In addition to creating a secure connection between your device and a Senton server, Senton also offers a certain amount of privacy through the way it was designed. Certain information about your account and services is required, and our Privacy Policy lists what is stored and what is not.
One of Senton's main use cases is public Wi-Fi. Public connections could be at an airport, a hotel or a cafe. A VPN provides a secure connection for data sent from these locations to our server.
Performance is always a key consideration. Your connection will be slower than without a VPN because of the encryption, as well as the added hop between your device and our server. The main factors affecting performance are your device, your internet connection, the distance to our server and how busy that server is. Generally speaking, the closer the server is to you, the better the performance will be.
Why Senton? Privacy was our first priority. The controls are useful. Senton runs on top of WireGuard. The Android app (and Android TV app) and the Chrome extension are available now. All plans include the same core features of a VPN. Pricing information is shown prior to purchase. A single account allows up to 3 devices to be connected.
To delete your account, please contact our support team. Our Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data. Please contact support from the Senton dashboard.
Senton is available for Android phones, Android tablets and Android TV, via a Chrome extension (available in all Chromium based browsers supported by Senton) and via a Firefox extension from Firefox Add-ons.
Yes, Senton is also available for Android TV. Simply install the Senton app on your Android TV via Google Play, then sign in with your Senton account to connect. Android TV counts as one of the up to 3 devices available on your account.
For Chrome and Brave, the extension can be installed via the Chrome Web Store. The Edge extension can be installed via Edge Add-ons, and the Firefox extension via Firefox Add-ons.
iOS (iPhone and iPad) apps are not currently available. The Android app is available now for phones, tablets and Android TV, and browser extensions are available for Firefox and Chrome.
Not yet. Desktop versions for Windows, macOS and Linux are coming soon. In the meantime, the browser extensions work on Windows, macOS and Linux via Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Brave and Firefox.
Yes. There are up to 3 devices available per account. However, the available features may vary between devices.
Availability of features will vary between devices. Some devices use more of the operating system, while others use more of the browser. Please consult the platform support information for current available features.
If you have forgotten your password, how you recover it depends on how your account was created. If you used your email to make your account, head to the forgot-password page and follow the link in your inbox. If you used your 16-digit Senton ID, you will not have a password. You use your 16-digit ID along with the Support Key in your dashboard.
Your Support Key is the spare key for your 16-digit Senton ID account, found in your dashboard. Only the most recently generated key will work. If you make a new Support Key, all your previous keys will no longer have access. Your Support Key is meant to be kept private and should never be shared in public spaces.
For users with a 16-digit Senton ID, there is no way to access the account without the Senton ID or the current Support Key. For those using an email address, the password is reset instead. Keep both your ID and current Support Key safe.
Eligible new subscriptions come with a 7-day free trial. The billing amount, the currency and the interval at which you will be billed are all displayed on screen before checkout.
Eligible new customers get a 7-day free trial that includes all features of the service. The price of the subscription, the currency you will be billed in and the length of the subscription are all displayed before checkout. The subscription length can be 1, 3, 6 or 12 months.
You can cancel at any time. Open your account dashboard and follow the steps shown, and that stops the next renewal. For subscriptions bought through the Google Play Store, cancellation is handled in your Google Play account. Apple billing will apply once the iOS app is available.
All new users get Senton VPN free for 7 days first. After that point, subscriptions are non-refundable except where a refund is required by law. For Apple and Google purchases, refunds go through their systems. For website purchases, please contact us through the support system in your account dashboard.
You can reach out to the Senton team through the contact form, the support email support@sentonvpn.com or through the Senton Assistant. If there is no agent available, submit your request and the team will respond by email.
To reach a person, open the Senton Assistant and choose “Connect me to an agent”. If no live agent is available, the request goes to the team and comes back by email. Never share your password, full Support Key or payment details in chat.
